New Community Shed for The Churn

A new Churn Shed is coming to South Cerney

Over the last few months we have been busy behind the scenes working on a new Churn Shed for the community of South Cerney.

This is a brand new project for The Churn Project, and we are excited to open up opportunities for the wider community of Cirencester.

First of all, we are hugely grateful to the Barnwood Trust, GloW Community Fund and Cirencester Signpost who have provided us with funding to facilitate this build.

Secondly, we are delighted to have partnered with A+B Fencing, who have carried out the groundwork and built the shed, and Bromford who have been fitting out the shed installing the electrics, lighting, heating and insulation ready for purpose.

We would also like to give a special thanks to South Cerney Street Fair who have donated £500 from the Duck Race and A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd (Blakemore Foundation) who have donated £100 for equipping the shed with tooling.

We look forward to welcoming new members to our inclusive community shed in the new year which will be open and accessible to everyone. If you are keen, or know anybody who might be interested in joining, please contact Engagement Worker, Graham Harris, on 07701 301528.
