Churn Friendship Café Wins Award

We are delighted to have won the prestigious Daniel Bingham Award for Community Project of the Year at this year’s Business and Community Awards in Cirencester.

The Churn Project’s Friendship Café runs every Tuesday afternoon (except third Tuesday of the month), 2-3:45pm, at Ashcroft Church.

The Friendship Café is a place for older people who would like to get together for a chat, support new friends and have a cuppa. We know that staying connected with other people has a positive impact on health. Sometimes life events mean that we lose some of the friendships and connections we have made. This group is extremely welcoming, there’s always a cup of tea and the chance for a chat. Come along and see for yourself.
