We were thrilled to host a special visit from the High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, Julie Kent MBE, accompanied by Sarah Sharma, Grants Manager, and new Trustee Emily Griffiths from the Gloucestershire Community Foundation! 🎉
We’ve recently applied for a grant through the Gloucestershire Community Foundation High Sheriff Grant programme and we were delighted to showcase some of the amazing work we have going on here at The Churn Project.
Our guests were invited to join our Creative Workshop group for young people aged 18 to 25, where they saw first hand what our group was working on.
The talented artist Debbie Sterling guided our young mosaic-makers as they crafted individual letters to spell out the word ‘Positivity’. It was heartwarming to see everyone’s imagination come to life!
A huge thank you to our guests for taking the time to see our fantastic work and meet our inspiring young people.
