We’re pleased to share that the first series of our new ‘Move Together’ exercise class for seniors has launched with great success!
This exercise class has been designed to help people improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Move Together is more than just a workout – it’s a welcoming space where seniors can stay active, build confidence, and enjoy the company of others in a supportive environment.
Thank you to our fantastic instructor Denise, who is delivering the sessions. From gentle stretches to light aerobic movement, each session is tailored to suit a range of abilities while encouraging everyone to move at their own pace.
The energy in the room has been inspiring. Participants have not only embraced the physical benefits of the class but have also enjoyed the chance to connect and build friendships. In the classes, we are focusing on key wellness areas such as cardiovascular health, mobility, strength, and balance, incorporating gentle cardio, muscle strengthening, and Tai Chi-inspired relaxation techniques.
The next Move Together series will start on Tuesday, 9th September and continue through to Tuesday, 21st October.
As we look ahead to the next sessions, we’re excited to continue growing this positive and engaging space. Whether you’re looking to improve balance, boost energy, or simply enjoy moving to music in good company, Move Together is a great place to start.
Our Move Together exercise class is currently running at Ashcroft Church on a Tuesday afternoon, ahead of our Friendship Café.
