Although our premises are closed to the public for now, The Churn is still working to offer support in our community. You can contact us on 01285 380038 or email

We have adapted our services so that we are able to carry on supporting those who need our help.

At the onset of the Covid-19 crisis we set up a shopping service for those identified as vulnerable; we delivered food to families and activities for the children; we set up telephone befriending; we offered phone support for everyone we already work with; we set up online support groups for parents; we offer 1:1 phone or online support for those seeking work; we recruited over 80 new volunteers.

If you need help or support (or know someone who does) you can contact us and we will do our best to help

We are working on how we will be able to bring back the services people love at The Churn. At the moment with we have telephone or online services, in line with government or Public Health advice. Our priority is to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Family Services

Ready Steady Baby, Ready Steady Baby's Here, New Baby New Life, Families Matter - we have Zoom groups and are offering individual phone support. We will be offering 1:1 support to the parents and families we already support. We are still working with other organisations to take new referrals where appropriate.

Employment (GEM) and Engagement

GEM is still offering 1:1 support online and by phone; there is phone support for those in crisis; Time for You has a Zoom group; allotment is still open.

Work Club Online will be resuming from 3rd July 2020. We are working with Adult Education in Gloucestershire to bring online learning.

Ageing Well

Good Neighbours are supporting their friends with telephone befriending; our team is phoning the people we already work with to offer support and check needs.

We are planning a socially distanced 1:1 support service to help people get out and independent again. We will be offering a time-limited buddying service for people needing additional help (depending on government guidelines) as soon as we can.
